B. J. Fischer Elected Secretary of PRSA East Central District 2026 Board

 

Bowling Green, OH (Oct. 31, 2025) — B. J. Fischer, President of Strategy by Fischer and member of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), has been elected to the PRSA East Central District (ECD) 2026 Board of Directors as Secretary.

Fischer is a 1986 Graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BA in English.

The PRSA East Central District is one of 10 districts that are part of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the largest organization of public relations professionals and students. The PRSA East Central District represents 15 chapters across Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. ECD provides regional leadership, professional development, and collaborative opportunities to strengthen PRSA members and regional chapters.

Kramer, APR, chair of the 2025 PRSA ECD Nominating Committee. “Their commitment to advancing the public relations profession, fostering ethical practice, and supporting our members’ growth ensures that PRSA ECD remains a driving force for excellence and collaboration in our region.”

B. J. Fischer has over two decades of experience in public relations. He has been part of a Silver Anvil award-winning team, along with winning a Diamond Award from the East Central District of PRSA and an Addy.  He founded Strategy by Fischer to provide high-level counsel to clients.  He is a past President of the Press Club of Toledo.
